Savaş Kaya
Savaş Kaya is a full professor of the chemistry at Sivas Cumhuriyet University, Faculty of Science, Department of Chemistry. He was born in Sivas in 1989 and obtained the Doctorate degree in 2017 in the field of theoretical inorganic chemistry with a study about chemical equalization principles and their new applications. The researcher who has undertaken important studies on the introduction of some new electronic structure principles, the derivation of new equations for the calculation of chemical hardness and electronegativity of molecules, and the introduction of new approaches to the literature to be used in the calculation of lattice energy within the scope of Conceptual Density Functional Theory, is the head of the Kaya research group, which conducts research in the field of computational and theoretical chemistry. Savaş Kaya, having h-index of 66, published more than 400 papers in international journals indexed SCI and SCI expanded. He is the editor of the books entitled “Chemical Reactivity: Volume 1: Theories and Principles”, “Chemical Reactivity: Volume 2: Approaches and Applications (Elsevier)”, “Conceptual Density Functional Theory and Its Applications in the Chemical Domain (AAP)”, “Corrosion Science: Theoretical and Practical Applications (AAP)” and Green Analytical Chemistry: Current Status and Future Perspectives in Sample Preparation (Elsevier). In addition to the studies mentioned, Savaş Kaya, who developed the “Property Prediction from Structural Differences” method with his latest analyses, is married Selen Ünal Kaya and has a daughter named Masal Kaya.
